Why have your grout sealed?

Because tile is so widely used for flooring, countertops, bath/shower areas and patios, it is subject to the daily wear and tear that use of these areas brings.  Grout looks great when it is initially installed, but as time goes by dirt and staining will inevitably occur.  This is especially true for light colored grout on floors and dark colored grout in shower/bath areas.

Grout used for tile installations is very porous.  As such, it is highly susceptible to dirt and staining from everyday use.  Some of the dirt and staining that occurs can be cleaned with household cleaning agents.   Unfortunately, it is difficult for most folks to keep up with their grout to ensure it is clean.  Many times they are not even aware that staining has occurred until it can't be removed.

Having grout sealed protects it's finish and provides piece of mind.  Having grout replaced is time consuming, messy and expensive!  Lets' face it, dirty and stained grout is not pretty and will certainly not add to the value of your home.

What we do.

For grout sealing, The Grout Girl uses a special sealant that is especially formulated for sealing grout.  The special 20 year invisible protective sealant applied by The Grout Girl is a two-step process and is guaranteed to protect your grout with normal wear and tear.

For grout cleaning, The Grout Girl uses heavy duty cleaning agents and a lot of elbow grease to help remove dirt and staining.   Even with the cleaning agents used, some dirt and staining cannot be removed but will have an improved appearance and can then be sealed.

New Tile - If you have a new home or have just had new tile installed, don't waste anytime before having your grout sealed.   Save yourself time and money by calling The Grout Girl before you need your grout cleaned and sealed.  Sealing new grout is the best way to protect the integrity of the color before dirt and staining can take hold.

Older Tile - If your older tile has seen better days but the grout is still in fairly clean condition, The Grout Girl can spot clean your grout and then apply the protective sealant.
